Back To Neverland
Neverland, Neverland
Never, never land
Tortoise green
Roll out your bag be part of the scene
Next stop Eugene
To the summer of love
Rolling in the green, green grass
Hop on the bus with your moon beams on
Grab a guitar and sing your song
Back on the road we were on
A long, long time ago
In Neverland, you don’t have to chase it
In Neverland, you don’t have to face it
In Neverland, revolution wasted
In Neverland, there’s no escape from
Never, never land
I guess it’s true
That we all live in a submarine
Yeah, me and you
Singing Joy to the World
From beneath the sea of green
Wave the peace sign, all you need is love
Smell the morning hash from the room above
Plenty there to share at the country
Fair, fair, fair
Fire On The Hillside
Oh gentlemen
It’s getting to feel like home again
Who lights the fire and where can I stay tonight?
I’m easy to ignore, I’m easy to confide
If you see a piece of needing that cannot be denied
Oh you and I
Didn’t we all have fun that night
Oh you and I
Didn’t we all have fun that night
Dancing on the hill
The fire is burning still
Taking in the fire light
And taking in the magic
So our hearts can reveal emotion that’s fed
So we can make it spread like
Fire on the hillside
Oh Janie dear
I’m so glad to find you here
Sharpen the ax, there’s fire line we gotta clear
And try to stay alive and wait for the arrival
Of the fire and the passion
We need for our survival
Masquerade
My love, your masquerade is over, it’s all over
Hey girl, I see no trace of love in your eyes
My love, your masquerade is over, it’s all over
Hey girl put away that thin disguise
All dressed up for the big parade
But inside it’s a big charade
You couldn’t stand one more day with me
Everything looks fine and dandy
Sergio smile and lips like candy
Save it for another Randy
My love, this masquerade is over, it’s all over
Hey girl I fell for all your lies, again and again
My love, your masquerade is over, it’s all over
Hey girl, I see through your disguise,
I’m better for the wise
I see your lying eyes
Save those long goodbyes
I’m Going Home
The sun will set on my life any day
And I’m still catching up to the crowd
It gets harder to move when the light’s burning out
And I can’t go home
On the wind I can hear their voices now
And I wonder how they’re keeping warm
On the tip of my tongue are the promises made
And I should go home
If I dare to step across that bridge again
Will I see smiles or just empty eyes
What do I gain to return empty handed
What’s it mean to arrive?
All my dreams are a sense of the joys in-between
The young and the old of days gone
But I awake all alone wondering when
I could go home
The journey’s long and far and wide
But it’s nothing like the battle inside
When my time is up will I stand or run
What’s it mean to hide?
On the final day I put all away
Pack up my thoughts for good
I stand up straight and walk to the light
Cause I’m going home
I’m going home
Dandelion Blue Eyes
I walked down to a city street to fill my empty head
To gaze in all the windows standing by
Surprise came in my little walk
I was taken by a painting
The start of this street fair gallery
I stood before a rich display
Of blues and greens and yellows
That led me to the girl behind the easel
Dandelion blue eyes a flower for you
I think I may have found the perfect frame for this
Dandelion blue eyes in colors so true
Running down the canvas just searching for a kiss
I saw an air of innocents surround her magically
She spoke to me with eyes of cheerfulness
Sit us in some shady place, a garden in the sunlight
To drink your reservoir of loveliness
Here you are a county girl and here I am a man
A million miles away from country scene
Can we take the highway back to Northern California
May I play in your yard amongst the redwoods
Minnesota Girl
Let’s take the Muni down to the lakeside at noon
Fall in the city, white sails dancing on blue
Me and a lady out in the sun
It’s a day for a walk and Hennepin Avenue’s where
Push forty-seven, climb to the top of the town
Plantation Pancakes always a light to be found
See stranger’s faces all in their place
Then I turn to see that you’re still with me
‘Spose I can meet you this Saturday night?
I’ll be there at Uncle Sam’s
You were the fun in my night that night
My Minnesota, my Minnesota, my Minnesota girl
Love in December, winter has covered the ground
Skate on the river, snow flakes are still coming down
See stranger’s faces all in their place
Then I turn to see that you’re still with me
Easy Living
Show me the bottle to teach me to crawl
Now I’m running the bases and catching the ball
The rule of success I will learn while I fall
No rooms for my daydreams, no running in the hall
I wear my new denims cause they make me look tall
But the most handsome body wears nothing at all
And look around neighbors we all dress the same
Purchase the style that lives more insane
Easy living, easy life
The pennies will play while the dollars are lost
We have to be noticed and pay such a cost
With four thousand dollars I round off my gains
With four thousand gold rings I lengthen my chain
With nothing that pays for there’s nothing to lose
And nothing to live for, no freedom to choose
Easy living, easy life
Spend A Day With You
Make lovebirds swarm
Make it all so warm
Those are things we’ll do
When I spend a day with you
May ring your phone
Catch you all alone
What I’d like to do
Is to spend a day with you
One voice will sing
Two will bring you harmony
We’ll sing our song
When I spend a day with you
Love Your Smile
Happy people smile in a world of joy
Happiness to share with every girl and every boy
On your slender lips there’s no denial
Oh how I love your smile
Traveling the world with style and grace
In the magazines I see your face
Pretty little princess down the isle
Oh how I love your smile
Oh Camilla, Oh Camilla, put down the silver!
